COPE, Colo. (CBS4) – The Washington County’s Emergency Management Office revealed the damage left behind by a number of tornadoes that tore through the town of Cope.

The tornadoes flared up Monday afternoon as part of severe weather forecasted.

Washington County officials say there were no reports of serious injuries.

The National Weather Service in Boulder says preliminary numbers show there were a total of 14 tornadoes on the Eastern Plains; seven in Washington County, three in Kit Carson County, and two in each Morgan and Weld counties.
